MRI Technology
MRI stands for Magnetic Resonance Imaging. MRI is a very advanced medical imaging technique that produces very clear pictures or images of the human body in exquisite detail. It provides an excellent way to diagnose diseases of the brain, spine, joints, abdomen, pelvis, and blood vessels. MRI Screenings provide highly specialized examinations of vital organs and joints.
MRI technology does not use any x-ray radiation; images are gathered
through high-powered magnets. The centers use only "Short-Bore
MRI Technology" which helps reduce "in-and-out" time-frame process
than the average MRI scanner for those patients with a history
of claustrophobia. The scanner table is outfitted with head and body
soothing support which assures a very comfortable procedure.
In about 20 minutes scan time, our latest technology with magnetic
resonance imaging (MRI) exam and faster technique enables us to gather
detailed information about your entire body without exposing you
to x-ray radiation.
Computerized Tomography (CT) Technology
A "CT" or "CAT" Screening is the term used to describe a radiologic test known as computerized axial tomography. CT Scan examinations can see inside and outside the brain, heart, lungs, liver, colon and all the major vital organs in vast detail not available with regular x-ray examinations. CT technology makes it possible to diagnose certain diseases earlier and more accurately than with other imaging tools.
The CT screening works by using the images (called "image slices") gathered during the Scan to assemble a three-dimensional picture that allows our doctors to see in great detail inside and outside important organs, bones and tissues. Read more information about CT Scan from WebMD.
CT Scans are safe and continue to be used by leading hospital and
treatment centers in the world. Although latest CT Scanners use Low-Dose
x-ray radiation to gather images, the dose of radiation is very low.
